You never make any of the shots you never take. 87% of the ones you do take, you’ll miss too. I make 110% of my shots.

I just have to say that Larry Bird thinks too much of him self. If he was the best shooter than why didn’t he score the most points instead of Kareem. I know that he’s a really good free throw shooter but still he’s just a good player. I doesn’t come close to the top of my list but yet he is still a great player. I give him credit for what he’s done but it’s just lots of people have past his records.

Larry Bird is a legend. So is Kareem. Just because he didn’t score as much as Kareem did doesn’t mean he isn’t a good shooter. By the end of his career he was averaging about 29 points a game. That is pretty good. So maybe he has a right to think that he is a pretty good shooter. It shows that he is confident.

well the guy who wrote the first comment is obveiously not a real basketball fan or player and should try tennis or golf because u totally missed the point of the quote the point of the quote was not for him to think highly of himself but for you to think highly ofyour own self and try he’s saying if u don’t take any shots u don’t make any shits but if you do shoot everybody misses some time but if you think your going to make it most of the time you do…
