Apparently this site’s ranking has diminished considerably in Yahoo. In fact, I was surprised that this site isn’t in the Top 20 for the term “Inspirational Quotes“. It was no 5 when I switched from a static site to a Wordpress blog. An amazing jump from nowhere – just by switching to a blog.
However, after 2 redesigns, I lost that rank.
I guess it got to do with my site re-design. I had re-assigned many categories and changed their names and their folders and I believe there are too many 404 or page not found errors.
There’s simply too many pages that have been changed that making a permanent redirect seemed like impossible. What should I do?
Google seemed to stand firm with tis site’s ranking, leaving my site at around the 40th place for the term.
No love from MSN too it seemed.
