ooooooOH shhhhhhh!!! He was one of those unique and variant men. But I think what really made Cliff special is not only his winning the race but especially that he was a farmer whom people thought wont compete and win.

Quite something….we should learn a valuable lesson from this story.

As Cliff walked up to the table to take his number, it became obvious to everybody he was going to run. He was going to join a group of 150 world-class athletes and run! During that time, these runners don’t even know another surprising fact – his only trainer was his 81-year-old mother, Neville Wran).

Wow Cliff you are an inspiration – I’d much rather be a turtle than a hare – you get to enjoy the scenery as well as achieve success. As a single parent people often presume I can’t achieve my dreams to be happy and successful. I may go a bit slower, just like Cliff but I often achieve success before those with less obstacles. Just like Cliff I also believe in myself and concentrate on making slow, steady progress and concentrating on all the reasons why I can, rather than can’t achieve something.
This story is definately going on my blog.

I became teary as I was reading this story and watched some videos online. People have proved again and again that wonderful things do happen when you are committed. He showed it’s possible to lead irrespective of your age, establishment, reputation and past history. He was a true leader without a title.

Real deep makes you think and really appreciate the people who did such things for us to survive
